GamePad

I have managed to make my synth with three optional sound waves and you are able to alter the Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release also you can change the sound by using a filter to shape your sound even further. the image aboe is 2 of the soundwaves.

I havemanged to fine a patch to help me set up my gamepad to use midi, at the moment Im having trouble using my Xbox gamepad and Ps3 controller connecting with my MAC as the 'unknown' devices. but I have order a usb adapter like what Dan used in his lecture so I ca use my Ps2 controller.

other than that I have synth that you can select which sound wave to use and you can shape that sound.

The synth

I've come up with some key parts for my synth Im going to create.

It'l need:
to make an oscillator
3 wave forms : Sine wave, Square wave, Saw tooth, & Triangle wave
Selectable Octaves: -2 to 4
create a sconded oscillator, which can be turned on and off

Create a filter to allow you to dynamicly change the sound of the wave form

and maybe try to make an Amp Envelope A,D,S,R maybe use 4 sliders

and add a LFO maybe

Starting Max/Msp

Max/Msp.

I have 60 days I believe to have completed a fully functional patch using this new software Max/Msp.

My idea for a patch is to create a synthesizer thats similar to a subtracter synth but needs to be a synth used to make chiptune, electro, and game style of music. I would also like to find a way to use a video game controller like xbox 360 or a Ps3 to control the synth.
